Cameron Zimmerman

Founder, Physical Therapist

Cameron Zimmerman is the founder of Firm Foundation Sports and a former collegiate soccer player at Baker University, where his experience as an athlete shaped his passion for performance, resilience, and high-level care.

Over the past 8 years, Cameron has worked extensively in outpatient, sports, and orthopedic clinical settings, treating a wide range of athletes and active individuals. Through this experience, he developed a clear conviction: athletes deserve more than the limitations of insurance-driven care—they deserve intentional, unrestricted, performance-focused treatment designed for true long-term development.

Firm Foundation Sports was created as that next step. A place where care is elevated beyond traditional constraints, allowing for deeper integration of performance, recovery, and individualized programming.

Equally important to Cameron’s approach is his faith, which serves as the foundation for both his personal and professional philosophy. He seeks to integrate that perspective into the rehab and recovery process in a meaningful, grounded way—helping athletes not only return to play, but grow in discipline, identity, and purpose beyond sport.

At the core of his work is a simple mission: to help athletes build a firm foundation in life—on and off the field.
